Drover found a miracle. Three months old, and left somewhere to die, Drover managed to drag himself to a Good Samaritan's house on Thanksgiving day.  That day, he gave thanks, but his rescuers were worried about him. Now they look back at this miracle pup and are themselves, thankful for how far he's come.

He was barely able to walk, and he was so starved that his backbone stood up about 2 inches tall away from his ribs.  He was still such a puppy, and so weak and debilitated, his rescuer didn't really expect him to survive, but did their best to help him.

They fed him mountains of food and treats, gave him a soft bed to lie in, gave him love, wormed him, got his vaccinations, and in April he was neutered.  He went on heartworm preventative and his benefactors got rid of the fleas that plagued him.

He has grown to about 70 lbs and looks nothing like his former self!

He will retrieve, sit and lie down.  He is gentle and has never displayed aggression. He is okay with the other dogs in his foster home, but hasn't interacted with cats but he loves kids. We recommend no kitties, but he'd make a good addition to a home with children.

Drover's adoption fee will help this Good Samaritan to rescue other homeless animals like Drover.
