Handsome Bruce (a.k.a. Bruiser 'cuz he's a big boy!!) started out as a much loved family pet and then something went terribly wrong.  Bruce wound up homeless and confused, but landed with a rescuer willing to give him a second chance.  His past abuse has left him with trust issues, but once he knows you he'll be your friend for life.  A head injury has left him with partial sight in one eye, and possibly some hearing issues, but he loves to spend time with his person and will stay at your feet if you just let him.  As a catahoula mix Bruce needs someone who will run and play with him for two or more hours a day.  He's an active working breed and would do best with an experienced dog owner, especially one familiar with the breed!  Please be sure to read the breed profile that you can access through the link under Bruce's picture.  Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped.  Fee for adoption.  Contact Linda at momcats2@hotmail.com for more information.
