High energy, lots of fun!
This cutie was living on the streets on her own at the tender age of 1 month. She made it to rescue and is looking for a new family of her own to love. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is house trained, and has never had an accident in the house. She is very entertaining and outgoing. She is curious and unapologetic. In other words, she has lots of personality and confidence. She is very friendly and likes people. She is a very active kitty. She loves to play. She will even play fetch with us, which is very unusual for a cat to do. One of her favorite games is to hide under or near furniture and spring out at you as you go past. She will wrap her paws around your ankle. She generally does not bite or scratch while doing this, but you have to be ok with this behavior if you adopt her, so that you won't be tripped, and she won't be kicked. She also does like to play with hands (even though we try to discourage her from doing that), and she will softly bite and softly use her claws. She hates having her nails trimmed, or being restrained. Scruffing has little effect on her. She will fight you at nail trimming time and act like you're trying to hurt her (which you're not, of course). She is ok with being petted, but she would rather play. She does best with petting when it's on her terms, but she will seek affection and will cuddle, knead and purr on your lap. She wants to play with other cats, but our other cats don't like her and most don't interact with her. She does try to continue to play and chase them, but she will leave them alone if they are serious about not wanting to play with her (e.g. growl and swat at her). The ones that will play with her, she plays with appropriately. Because she is so active and playful, she should not be with a family that has children under the age of 12. She has not been around dogs, so I don't know how she would react to them. She would probably be ok with most cats, since she is still a kitten, but it would be best to test her with other cats before adopting her, to verify that everyone is ok with everyone else. Her adoption fee is $75.
