Beautiful Fluff Ball Looking 4 Love
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION!
=========================== Sian views herself as a lap baby and loves to give kisses and cuddle. She's approximately 1 yr old and weighs approx 45 lbs, Siberian Husky/German Shepherd. She is crate-trained and house-trained, will do well with her adoptive family once they establish a routine and schedule with her. She is currently in foster care, fed 2x a day a grain free dog food. She is parti-eyed which means she has two different colors in her eyes (blue and brown), which is common among Huskies, nothing wrong with her vision. This young lady is an absolutely lovely dog. She rides fine in the car, walks decently on-leash. She gets along with other dogs, cat curious, has not shown any aggression towards them while in foster care. She knows a couple of commands, she's a young dog, and her new family has to be willing to continue to help her develop into a well-behaved adult. With proper training, she'd be a great hiking, running, walking companion and then wonderful for "couch time" afterwards. She can be a little shy at first, but warms up rather quickly. Extremely affectionate and an overall goofball. She is vocal in the Husky way, lots to say, not over the top, but she does howl as this breed is known to do. Seeking a loving and responsible home environment that has previous dog-parenting experience. You should understand the Husky breed and level of responsibility they require as far as ongoing caring. She is current on all of her vaccines, dewormed, spayed, current on flea/tick prevention, micro-chipped, she tested heartworm negative. Huskies should be maintained indoors in the air conditioning and her new family should be willing to maintain her as such. You should have prior experience being a pet parent to a dog this size, a realistic understanding of the cost associated with caring for a furry family member, the time needed, and financial ability to do so. Experience with similar "working breeds" is good, e.g. a dog this size, Labradors, German Shepherds, Rotties, etc. Huskies are normally very social animals and they like to be with their families. Your home should have a fenced in yard, minimum six feet high, should be in good condition with no gaps where a dog might be able to dig under or squeeze through. Her adoption fee is $125, veterinary records will be supplied as part of her adoption. If you are seriously interested in adoption, please complete an application by going here: http://tomballsos.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2481. No meetings will take place without a completed application.
