Bella was surrendered to the Houston city animal shelter, BARC, by her owner because they had too many dogs.  She's a super cute girl that's looking for a new start.

She's an active, happy, friendly girl who would love to have a family to play with.  She has had some formal training.  She wants to be a lap dog, and will definitely cuddle when she isn't playing.  She would really love her chance to be in a home.  She has so much love to give, and hopes that her family will find her soon.

She is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.  She is house trained.  She was heartworm positive and has completed heartworm treatment; her recent tests indicate that she is heartworm negative.  She is ok with most other dogs.  She is ok with at least some cats.  She is a little too much for very small children, but is ok with older children (10 and up).

Bella wants to be the belle at your ball, then to chase the ball, then have you throw it again.  ;-)
