Shy fellow
Jack is a slightly shy little pup who was brought to a shelter as a stray and we think he was still a puppy. He is larger now and we think he is just over 1 year old. He is living with a foster family and their dogs. Jack is so laid back, if he is told to stop doing something, he does. When another dog snaps at him, he is like “that is cool” and walks away. He has never been aggressive or snapped at any person or dog. When he is waiting, he lies down with his head on his front paws. He gets along well with the people and the dogs, and particularly loves to play with their male Cairn terrier. He is still a shy around men, but he's coming around to trusting men, too.
He just needs a chance with an extra special family that is looking for an extra special dog. Jack is so smart and loving. If you are looking for a great companion who will not bark at everything he hears and will give you kisses and enjoy walks, Jack is your dog. He has a mane of white hair and streak of white hair on the top of his head that transforms into a Mohawk. It's adorable! He is neutrered, vaccinated and microchipped. He was heartworm positive but has completed treatment. He is also house trained. He is a very smart dog, and is very obedient. He will do what you ask on your first command. His foster family has nicknamed him Happy Jack or Gentleman Jack, since he's always smiling and always behaves so well. His foster mom will be happy to talk to you about this special little man. His adoption fee is $75.
