Sweet little girl!
This little girl was turned into a shelter by her owner because she was missing some hair. We're working on fixing that up, and we think that it is due to allergies. Her hair is mostly grown in, but she is still itchy in a couple of places, like her belly.
She is heartworm negative, and vaccinated. She has been spayed. She is already house trained. She is very sweet and pretty laid back. She lived with a foster family for several weeks. They have 2 other dogs, and while Isabella and their dogs got along, she would stumble into the families other (smaller) dogs. One of the dogs is older and frail, and it was risking injury, so the foster family couldn't continue to foster her. They thought she was a very good, and special girl while they were caring for her. We discovered that she has/had cataracts and had ittle or no vision. She has had surgery to correct this. One eye had surgery and she has normal vision in it. The other eye was non-operable, because the cataract had crystallized and couldn't be repaired. Her vision is shadowy/very blurry in that eye. Isabella needs a family that understands her special needs. She needs to be an indoor dog since she would be more vulnerable to injury, etc if left outside and unattended. Her adoption fee is $100.
